Stick to YOUR plan

I’m learning that, to be successful at trading, you have to learn the skill, make your own rules, and follow them every time you execute.

The same is true in life, whether you’re in a relationship or working at a job.

We make rules for how we want our lives to look, and sometimes we break them. Then we’re left feeling chaotic, lost, and like the world is against us, when really we are against ourselves. It’s always you versus you. God has given you the freedom of choice, and sometimes you just can’t stay consistent with your own choices.

I want to be successful in all areas of my life, so that means I have to stick to the rules and commitments that I put in place because they best fit the life I want to live. The moment I stop sticking to them, I start feeling weird, and that’s when things become misaligned because that was never my original plan.

If something, or a trade, isn’t the setup I want, I will wait for what I want, regardless of whether the feeling is telling me to pull the trigger quickly, because that impulse will humble you.

Patience and a slow burn are some things I yearn for and will have.
