Money B 💛
Visiting my Nana, I noticed her nickname, "Money B," is written on her headstone. After she passed, I felt like she didn't really have any money or assets to pass down to my dad. I remember thinking to myself that I needed to work hard so that one day I could pass something down to my kids when I leave this earth. Now, at 28 years old, I'm realizing why her nickname was Money B. Contrary to what I believed when I didn't see any money after she left us, it wasn't because she was the richest woman or because she had monetary things to pass on. She passed down something much deeper than that. She would give people her last, and because of that, she seemed rich in other people's eyes. She always had something to give. Whether my dad realizes it or not, and whether I realize it all the time or not, we learned something meaningful from her actions that we can pass down to our own seeds and even to the people we interact with. They can learn something from it too...
