Love My Circle

I’m realizing that it’s not only important who you marry, but it’s also important who you have in your inner circle.

Just as you should marry someone who speaks life into you, you should also have friends who speak life into you. Life is full of distractions, and there have been times when I felt lost and blinded by everything going on around me. During those moments, my friends and family did what they could: they encouraged me and spoke words of wisdom into my life.

There is power in the tongue.

Just like I want the person I come home to to speak life into me when I can’t do it for myself, and I will do the same for them, I also want friends around me who can calm me down, offer perspective, and speak truth when I need to hear it.

It can’t be the blind leading the blind. Someone has to have vision.

I pray every day to be aligned with positive people, and I truly believe that prayer has been answered for a long time. I’ve been connected with so many amazing people throughout my life, and it’s been a blessing.

And just as I want them to speak life into me, I will always speak life into them, because I know the power my words may have.
