The Plot is THICK
Why do we pray for things, and then they seem to appear when we don't even realize it, and we end up mishandling them?
Is it because we:
- Get caught up in the next new shiny thing
- Don't mix our prayers with true faith
- Or both
I think some of us pray simply because it's what we were taught, but not with the intention behind it, like we should.
To me, faith is believing in the spirit, even when you can't see it with your physical eyes. And that part is key, because the things we see daily can distract us from the prayer, the plan, the plot, or whatever you want to call it.
I'm speaking directly to myself when I say this. Even though I can't physically see the things I've placed in my current prayers, I had to stop and realize that I am already living in things I once prayed for.
That alone shifted something in me.
Now I just have to sit still long enough and stay focused on the plan to allow things from my current prayers to unfold. And sitting still... waiting...that part feels hard, let me tell you.
But I'm determined to do what I know needs to be done, to keep my faith, stay aligned with the plan, and trust the process. Regardless of what the physical world is trying to distract me with.
